Rabbit Oil Painting

This is my most recent oil painting. A student in one of my classes asked if I would paint a picture of a rabbit for him. So, I thought hmm....I guess so. Painting a rabbit would give me a "subject" to paint and give me extra practice using my oil paints.  I need the practice because oil paint is so different from the acrylic paint that I'm used to using. Thankfully oil paint is easier to manipulate and goes on the canvas smoother....but acrylics dry fast and oil takes a LONG time! It's a give or take situation. LOL!

I hope my student likes the painting!!

Does anyone have any subject ideas for me?
